The new cooler part sounds good. I really like quiet coolers that exhaust the hot air outside the case. I wonder if flashing a diffrent firmware will unlock a few more pipes?

this is stupid... it's already a slow card.... They should just unlock the other 4 pipes and lower the clock speed instead and leave the memory speed as is...
This card is going to be a complete dawg compared to 7900gs now... |

When the only thing that differentiates different models is clockspeed, isn't it kind of misleading to suddenly change what the stock speeds are and still use the same model name?

The x1900gt replaced the x1800xt - and it was slower to begin with - the x1900gt was faster in a few titles like fear and oblivion, but mostly was closer to the x1800xl instead.
If you miss the first time, fire at the other foot! |
