Would be interesting if this is adaptable to work on the pc - an HD-DVD drive for the pc for that price wont be bad at all!

I am so tired of the 1080p hype. The only difference between 1080i and 1080p on a disc is how the video signal is stored. The information is identical. Properly deinterlaced 1080i is indistinguishable from native 1080p.

Does the USB cable, that it uses, actually have the kind of bandwidth needed for 1080P?

All MIcrosoft has to do is learn that HALO and all t he "Adult" games don't really cut it in Japan. This is not the place to do "If you build it - they will come"!!!
Sony and Nintendo know what their Asian fans want - end of story. And adding the HD-DVD drive puts the better system at the same price point as the PS3. I'll take the PS3. |

What does this have to do with "Personal Computing Explored"?
I have game consoles, but I don't come here for console updates. If vistia required HD-DVD or something like that, then i'd be interested. |
