Sometime competition leads to advancements. It is my opinion that it seems AMD is the only company out there striving to advance the industry to make things easier and better.

i find it funny how video cards have had this for so long, but it's taken forever for it to happen with processors, which are technically an even more critical component.

How does this fit in with the EFI?
Don't get me wrong, I think this is a fantastic idea, but if the BIOS is getting replaced with EFI then maybe it isn't worth the trouble.

good idea, but it isn't going to matter to anyone who already has a motherboard... anyway, i'm expecting this by the *end* of next year-- it isn't a trivial thing!

If there was a way to secure the VRM aswell...besides the old modular VRM :p
