So far, YouTube has already signed content and advertising deals with CBS, EMI, NBC, Sony BMG, and Universal.

I think people should wait more than a week to declare the death of YouTube.

I think it will kill YouTube if they continue this, but I'd much rather all those companies sue YouTube then sue me for watching the videos, much like they were trying to do with music.
Still, it would make more sense (morally at least) to sue the people who upload the videos.

The fall of Youtube keeps going on.

It is very sad that the previous owners jump the shinking ship with $1.2 Billion in their hands.

What the hell was Google thinking?

If it wasn't for Youtube, I wouldn't know who those people are, and would NEVER watch any of their content EVER. Way to get rid of free promotion!

Ileagal or not, with this coming news I've now lost all motivation to watch youtube. The end draws near :'(
