I don't see how they can release Vista to businesses this month, but then not do retail or even OEM for at least another month to 2 months. Are they giving businesses an unfinished product and assuming they won't mind having to patch it to make it match the final release? Or are the things that are included in the non-business versions so incomplete (which would still make the whole "one CD for all versions" thing not work)?

Wow...companies are just going to LOVE the extra tech support and lost productivity that is bound to stemm from that.

Why would a corporation want to move from XP (or even Windows 2000) to Vista in the first place? The only real differences is some fancy eye candy, which isn't needed in a business enviroment & requires faster hardware, and the UAC, which while it is good the MS is trying to boost security, is so annoying that the Tech support issues that it will cause will probably eat up nearly as much time the usual spyware & viruses.

I have now come to believe that Microsoft doesn't care about Vista anymore. It is now a backdoor way to convince gamers to convert to 360 for their gaming platform.
