Is any of this stuff actually going to stop pirates?

And the Office Vista version that was recently "leaked" to warez groups was the enterprise edition which is PRE- ACTIVATED. So this measure won't stop pirates at all.

Seems the logical answer is to never restart Office once you've opened it.
Which means I guess every Vista update will require a reboot once installed, just to force application restarts until you hit that magic 25 number. I don't see the problem myself, if the software is valuable to you, then pay for it, or find an alternative that is equally useful. |

Open Office, Corel Office X3, Thunderbird, Firefox, Opera, Linux, Debian, Knoppix, and Foxit... Fortunately I get by without dealing with MS a whole lot. I don't have buy one instance of MS office products and it rarely sees any acthion and will not be upgraded. If I could wean my professional apps from XP I would be done.

Vista needs to be activated within 3 days! (Atleast all those I seen and got). And can be installed without a key.
Anyway, MS is actually nice, since you can still somewhat use it. Any other would give you the middlefinger and exit right away :p |

Correct me if I'm wrong but Office (for OEM and retail versions at least) has been doing this since Office XP. That was released four years ago.
