good thing we don't really need an update for uTorrent anyway, it's solid as a rock and even features a web interface xD

Expertise in network protocols, my shiny behind. Bittorrent sucks on all fronts, this is just another way of saying we suck and have to buy ourselves some competence, but they still won't have a clue what to do with it. This can't be good news for the uTorrent community.

I dunno, why do you need a GUI to use bittorent. I use bittorent-console from the command line in Linux. There is a GUI but what would I use it for? You just want to join the swarm and download the file ... right. Setting an upload limit is trivial.
I have this problem with a lot of GUIs. They just make it harder and slower to use the software. I hate clicking through menus when a few words typed into a console will do the trick. |
