I just wish they wouldn't break driver features as fast as they fix them :-(

Got a 6600GT on Vista-32, not that difficult a config, and the new WHQL drivers break DualView support on my system. Clone still works, DualView worked on the 97.xx drivers, but no longer - it just ignores the second display. Makes me wonder what is actually involved in WHQL testing - presumably DualView does work for some other people.

Still waiting for custom resolutions to be added back in again. Powerstrip sucks.

Does anyone remember when Nvidia's drivers "just plain worked" and were John Carmack's "gold standard" to develop on? Sheesh.

Some WMV's crash the entire OS (BSOD) when I play in Vista with my 8800.
Oblivion will crash when exiting the game (not a big deal.)
Otherwise, performance wise I've been very pleased.

So, is the driver doing something new, and possibly more correctly then in the past, therefore breaking some games?

Or does the driver have a bug, that they are letting people know that they will not be fixing for the foreseeable future?
