Oh great, now Best Buy has more ways to screw people over... just wonderful.

I still remember the cafe in Belltown, with the awesome 2-11 poolhall upstairs. Great times...

I used to be with Speakeasy before cable in my area got it's act together. As much as I loved their service and support, they cant match cables speed and price. I hope for their sake that Best Buy does not touch their support system. I can only imagine if they have the Geek Squad answering questions. I'll never forget how they hosed my mothers system and try to blame it on the hardware.

I think the last Best buy offended me so much (Loud blaring music in the CD section and the TV section,) that I will do everything in my power to avoid them permanently. Also several of the Vista displays had errors on the screen. Then again I think that was the retail release week for Vista.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see whether Speakeasy manages to survive this acquisition with their core values and level of service intact. I've got my fingers crossed, but I'm not optimistic.
