It's pretty much the perfect combination - Supreme Commander basically requires a dual-core processor to run well at all.

Whenever I do a major upgrade in the future I think I'm going to have to avoid any and all enthusiast and shopping sites for about a year. By that time it will be old enough I won't feel as bad. I swear stuff didn't used to drop in price so much so fast as it does now...

Newegg has also dropped the E6600 price to $235 (and the Q6600 price to $659).

meh. directx 10 card... but why get one now? wait a year. I certainly didn't get anything out of it on my 8800 GTS. The card is already $50 less than I paid for it.
