Damn it, I was really hoping the extreme edition chips would come down in price as well. QX6700 is still in the kick-to-the-groin price range.

i thought the Q6600 was gonna be something like $266
also wats the difference with the between Xeon's with the core 2 architechture cpus and normals core 2 duo's is it like opterons e.g. 165 and X2's where the opteron would use better sillicon so better overclock and lower voltage ??? |

Dam.....AMD looses another BILLION dollars and two or three days later Intel kicks them in nuts while they are on the ground.

Looks like i can get a Core Duo 2 E6700 now without breaking the bank. Though a quadcore is also in reach too. Question is, do I really want a quadcore, when I am happy with two...
Now I'm just waiting for X38 mobos... |
