So, is the included 500W power supply good enough for a new 2900XT? How about in crossfire mode (possible upgrade a couple years down the line).

Nice case, for what it is, I guess.

But I still don't like doors.

I bought Antec's Peformance TX 640B last fall for a new computer I'm planning on building. I like the space even though it's bigger than life and weighs more than both my cats. The Sonata case looks very nice but it's not roomy enough to work inside of.

It's a great case so long as you: (a) don't have a large CPU HSF, and (b) your PSU never dies. Basically, it's freakin' impossible to get the PSU out of the case by itself if you're using something like a Zalman 9500, as I recently found out. Other than that, love the case (have a Sonata II).

Sharp case and not a bad PSU. if it's <$100 it might be a contender for my next build. The only problem I have with them is the polished finish. I've had automotive quality painted/clear coated cases before, and the fingerprints are embarrassing at LAN parties, especially when you break out the cloth to wipe it down.

It looks like they removed that useless air duct from the Sonata II.

looks great but the interior has some serious problems

long 5 1/4 external drives make it difficult for working with long PSUs (ie very cramped or no room to plug in the drive connector without unscrewing all the drives and PSU)

doesn't fit a 8800gtx, as the drive cages partition the space with big metal stuff and cannot be removed

i'm looking at the Lian Li PC-A05 instead

I have an original Sonata and I love it. I wish you could get it without a PSU though, I wound up replacing mine with something beefier.

This is the Case I plan to use for my next system. Looks like decent bang/buck with a reasonable PS.

Well that explains why the sonata i just bought had a 50$ rebate (although they have done that before)... I don't know whether to be upset at this or happy I got a good deal...
