With so many boards it used to amaze me how Gigabyte ever keep track of drivers and updates for them all. And then I found out: They don't.
People want either a cheap barebones board or they're willing to pay for a fully-featured board. Then you've got "overclockers" versions that are made with higher quality components and more aggressive cooling. Finally, you've got the server-board-on-a-desktop-chipset and mini-pc board that pretty much covers all your bases. That makes 6 boards I can count, Gigabyte obviously thought up another 3 scenarios I couldn't..... |

Again, DDR3 support is really a non-issue right now as said before. TR's very own review is proof enough of that. My only gripe now is that when I recommend the "DS3" now I gotta specify the P965 DS3.

i am stuck at 2.2ghz on my a64 4400+ x2 instead of the 2.75ghz i had before, all thanks to those wonderful gigabyte folk. they even have the audacity to claim all sorts of wonderous things about their overclockability...
meh, that's enough of that. buy one of these at your own peril.
