I thought X38 was supposed to be DDR3 only. Interesting to see it's not, complicates my decision around August time a bit.

How are those six DIMM slots distributed? I'm guessing 4xDDR2 and 2xDDR3? (That would make the most sense, since DDR3 can go to higher capacities eventually, and DDR2 is the cheap/dominant form today).

just remember you cant have DDR2 and DD3 at the same time. I don't like the legacy stuff like IDE, FDD, Parallel/serial ports. They are totally useless these days. Are those a total of 16 USB ports? Would be nice to include some Firewire ports too with those memory sticks coming out in 1394 flavors.

I own a Foxconn motherboard. Talk about lack of support. The BIOS that shipped with the MB was the only version ever released. It has cold start problem requiring reset. The SATA cotroller will not work if FSB is overclocked 1 MHz. The HD LED is inactive with SATA activity. Spend an extra $20 and buy an Asus.
