Will it have a full size screen across the front to finally make watching video a reasonable experience?
And if they did will Apple still ruin it by restricting to crappy quicktime formats like they did with Apple TV? |

I hope this does come out in August -- I'm going to London in Sept and would love to have it for the flight!

You can get the slim 1.8" hard drives up to 60GB now, and the thicker ones at 120GB.
Whilst I don't see Apple using these, there's hope for 40GB/80GB capacities. Of course it remains to be seen how cheap the display would be, and the improved hardware inside to drive it (i.e., pretty much the same CPU as the iPhone), and the effect on the price of the iPod. |

I expect Apple to announce these new iPods just in time for Christmas shopping season - probably sometime in September.
So, upped Macbooks in May, new Macbook Pros in June, iPhone in July, rumored redesigned iMacs in August, rumored new iPods in September, Leopard in October. Then there are the rumored Macbook Thin and updated Santa Rosa Macbooks that will be out this year as well. It will be a very merry Christmas indeed, if this pans out. |

This would be huge, and give it a very much "must have" feature over the zune. I could even see people with ipods already upgrading to this.
