One thing worth pointing out is that the chip is running at 3GHz with just a regular stock heatsink and fan.
Is that really a fair estimated summary of the situation? It has a case fan mounted in the back and a double decker "slot cooler" that consumes the rest of the case. Not to mention the power supply fan and we can't see what the front of the case sports. I can't imagine that case doesn't sound like a jet engine warming up. I don't doubt the three ATI HD graphic cards contribute their own part to the extreme air cooling in there, but that certainly doesn't preclude a cherry picked 3GHz Phenom sporting some nasty TDP greater than 135W. Edit: Suppose my point is there are lies, ****ed lies, and marketing. :P That it has an apparently heat piped based HSF on it when mixed in with that wind tunnel worth of fans leaves reality a little murky. Edit2: Spelling. |

It's a gaming Rig. Considering the problems with 64-bit Vista right now I would go with a 32 bit as well.
? So gaming hot it only has 2GB? So fresh and intelligently built it has lost 1.5GB or more of it's usable physical memory to reserved address space from three 512MB 2900 video cards while coupled with a 32bit OS. So gaming l33t that even if you stuck 3GB or more in there you'd only see about 2.6GB if that? Sign me up. Make sure to include an extra special gift for ordering now. A sign you can wear on your back that says, "Stupid" |

The most interesting thing I see is "32-bit Operating System". You think they would have used 64-bit version unless there was some sort of problem?

I'm an AMD fanboy, but I think it's painfully obvious that's a rather poorly disguised X2 6000+

The case is a Coolermaster Stacker Evolution 832. I recognize it because I'm half thinking about going to one next upgrade-go-round. I'd be using non-LED low RPM 120mm fans, though, and likely have the mobo tray reversed for some ghetto WTX action.

It may have a stock heatsink and fan, but what's with the ricer neon wall-o-fans in the case?

The side of the case isn't even on reducing the efficency of all those fans. On top of that Increasing the # of fans like you suggested doesn't really increase the cooling efficiency that much.
My point wasn't to say it was impossible. It may well be a shake and bake cherry picked die. Not as if Intel hasn't done similar things in the past. My point was I think trying to glean anything useful from it, is basically futile. |

Wait. 5.9 ? Doesn't that break the Windows "Experience" index record?

It explains the 2GB of memory any ways.
