A frikin 2.6 GHz CPU shouldn't have a 125W thermal envelope. How the hell are they going to reach 3.0GHz and beyond?

Well at least now we can easily figure out the clock speed for the Phenom 9000 series.
2.4 Ghz or 2400 x 4 = 9600. Sounds like a new "model" it's really just the clock speed times four. Hurray for easy clock speed identifiers. |

so we're back to the 9xxx's. this reminds me so much of 2002 with the Radeons. Maybe AMD should drop the FX line and switch to an 'XT' suffix. ;-).
