I believe this is Nvidia's way of saying "crap, we are running out of steam! Engineers do a quick fix ASAP!"

Three way SLI will be much more practical with the 8800GT if it is supported; it has lower power requirements, a single slot design, and $250 price tag. I could definitely stomach that.

Who are the e-tards buying this crap? All theyre going to get is headaches which is what any form of SLI amounts to. There must be a lot of people willing to pay for this or Nvidia wouldn't bother with it

I spent $2,000 CDN on 2 BFG 7800 GTX 512 OC's. To this day I have trouble running SLI in a stable manner. I refuse to spend that kind of money ever again on an SLI setup.
As the current crop of games (ETQW/BioShock/Crysis) are pushing a single 8800 GTX Ultra OC to its limit I am hoping that the 89xx Ultra will be out sooner rather than later (I can't wait for the 9xxx series) . |

Waait a second, how in the hell are you going to fit three dual slot videocard systems? (I already have a tough time imagining two dual slot-ers) You'd have to have some mega huge server board, and a huge server tower. This has stupid written all over it.
