I'm still trying to envision the multi-monitor setup where this makes sense. The trading desk sorts of applications always have the budget for another video card, which gives you two more displays (or three if you use one of the Matrox triplehead cards). What's the market?

I'd sure love to see a review of one of these, though.

Given that the previous 19" model had some trouble keeping up with high frame rates due to the limited bandwidth of USB, how the hell are they going to pull this one off?

They probably know what to do, when they release products like this. If there is demand, fine... who's losing?

Has anyone invented a (Gigabit) Ethernet connected monitor yet? Ethernet would be even more usable than USB for building large multi-monitor setups and would probably allow for longer cables if that's necessary. If based on TCP/UDP/IP protocols, the same technology would be applicable in WLAN networks as well.

I would see the use of a smaller screen for tech support or something like that, but 22" is way past portable =P.

What am I missing here. This monitor is intended for computers that have no video processor installed? So when shopping for a new computer you have 3 video choices (discrete, igp, or none)?

Have they even sold any of the first model?
