Am I the only one who thinks that 80 people is a ridiculous number for this kind of project? I hope more than half of that are PA/QA people.

I only played the first Deus Ex, never bothered to get the sequel. It had one of the most complicated and amazing storylines I have ever seen in a videogame. Amazing experience, great quality. I hope DX3 will be of the same caliber as the first one.

Well, judging by the consistent quality that the Montreal Ubisoft team puts out (the recent Prince of Persia games and lately : Assasin's Creed), i hope this Eidos Montreal studio won't dissapoint either.

w00t!
I echo comments that the first installment of the game was much better then the second. I really hope they take most of the gameplay elements from that version and leave most of the parts that made the second what it was alone.

Better than nothing I suppose, but I hope it's more similar to Deus Ex 1 instead of 2. The first one is a classic.

Heh, at first I was about to shout "Oh yeah!" out loud, then I remembered playing DX2. It wasn't bad, really, but it was an average shooter (and more shooter than RPG) and just failed to fill its predecessor's shoes.

Considering the amount of games Eidos has released in the last few years, the only half decent recent titles I can recall are Tomb Raider and Hitman, both franchises that have been milked to death. And judging by Deus Ex 2, this will likely follow the tradition with a half balked game trying to catch people with the name.

I still fear for the worse.

I hope the developers are taking notes from Deus Ex I.

Let's hope this one doesn't suffer from poor performance and consolitis like Deus Ex 2.
