These require an insanely high FSB right?

From the linked Fudzilla article:

The prices of these products have increased since the last roadmap, but obviously Intel realized that AMD is simply not there with the parts to compete.

Too damn bad AMD hasn't got any game. Oh well, the last thing I need right now is temptation to upgrade the completely acceptable rig I've got.

Step 1: Get a q6600 (G0 preferably) and any decent P35 board or better
Step 2: Go to bios and set FSB to 333+ Mhz
Step 3: Profit!

Not that Fudzilla has ever been a great source (Fraud Abazovic and staff tend to write more completely unsubstantiated rumors than the publication that rejected them [The Inquirer] or the publication that rejected the Inquirer's founder [The Register]), but this is a trend that I've come to expect. Intel tends to launch products on the third Sunday of every quarter.

1. On January 21, the third Sunday of Q1 '07, Intel launched the Core 2 Duo E4300.
2. On April 22, the third Sunday of Q2 '07, Intel launched the Core 2 Quad Q6600 as well as the E4400, E6300 and E6320 (as well as dropping prices a notch).
3. On July 22, the third Sunday of Q3 '07, Intel launched the very attractively-priced Core 2 Duo E4500, E6550, E6750, E6850 and Q6700 and slashed the price of the Q6600.
4. On October 21, the third Sunday of Q4 '07, Intel launched the Core 2 Duo E4600.

Given this trend, I think January 20, 2008 (the third Sunday of Q1 '08) is a likely date for a product launch.

I just finished build my Rig with a 6850 clocked to 3.7GHZ but a CPU is quick replaced. Looking forward to see the new ones and how they perform.
But the Prices give me shiver especialy the Quad Cores are more then Double in comparison of the Price Tag.
