Too little to late. PC gaming business blows unless you are Blizzard.

The thing I hate about an online source is that I have no physical copy of the game. So if I rebuild a system I would have to wait for the game to download then install it. :(

I guess this would be good for non-gaming software, but I'd rather see more games on Steam than another distribution system that carries games.

Highly amusing that potential competitors are close neighbors. Valve (Steam) is sited in Bellevue, across the lake from Seattle downtown. I wonder if any Valve employees will slide over to Amazon?

Occasional problems aside, I love Steam's convenience and portability.

It's the business model that will continue to make PC gaming vibrant--despite what the idiots at Epic think.

steam is more then just a store. it's also a server matching crap and friend list for those who have friends.
