maybe when these come out I can finally get a laptop with 8 hour battery life that doesn't have the battery the size of an EEE PC.

That's really not much cheaper than current low-end single core CPUs is it? The C2D-based Celeron 420 is available for ~$40 in a retail package in quantities of 1 from etailers.

Even at $29 with the tiny size of that die they probably make money hand-over fist.

Nice price, looking forward to seeing some nice devices built around this chip - slimmer EeePC laptops, etc.
