I hope they fix the hit detection in this game, shooting someone 50 times and not killing them is not cool.

I might pick this up when it's eventually bundled on steam. From what I heard about it it was technically incomplete, and as gamers we shouldn't reward developers/publishers for doing such things.

Agreed, #9. The mood in the game was really well done and it was highly original for a genre that just needs an enema.

The atmosphere, and dread i felt playing stalker was soooooo good, and addictive. And staying in there for the two true endings was definitely worth it. One of the most challenging FPS's of last year. Completely agree with the comment about Portal. Portal and the witcher were my two favourite games of last year, but Stalker was definitely close.

Loved playing STALKER. Easily the best game of 2007. It was a great reason to buy an 8800GTX.
Very much looking forward to the prequel and the user mods that will follow. |

If you count Portal as a puzzle game then STALKER was my favorite single player FPS of 2007. I liked Crysis and Bioshock a lot and STALKER was far from perfect but it just did so many things right and had an atmosphere that was just amazing...
I can hardly wait for Clear Sky - I just wish they could figure out a way to do co-op... |

YES. I would like to send out a little love to GSC Game World for keeping the PC faith. PC Gamers are lucky to have them.

I can't wait for this to come out. The first one was one of the more imaginative games to have interested me in a while.
