I counted 5 sites that had reviews up on the B3's this weekend. Apparently, the B3 does a bit more than fix the TLB issue. Firing squad used an OC'ed 2.8ghz B3 "black edition" for a full set of benchmarks to demonstrate stability. Even the 2.5ghz version beat the Q6600 in 3dMark and several other benchmarks including windows media encoding and company of heroes.

AMD's top line 9850 Phenom is still cheaper than the Q6600 as well.

Interesting times.

I wonder if there is any difference in performance on the server side for these chips?

Hey the picture looks like an Intel CPU with the Opteron 64 logo Photochopped in? Why not a Phenom?
