And now for the question NOBODY else is wondering: How are they transmitting standard 3-phase power on that line? Looks like they've been taking their industrial design cues from HL2.

Loved the original, gonna buy this as soon as it comes out.

The demo sure looks stunning, I however, doubt that in-game graphics will look that good. Nevertheless I cannot wait for the next generation CPUs/GPUs to play this title and Crysis.

Game looks great, don't think my video card would handle it at all..

Always believed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC was the sleeper hit of 2007, just edged out by Bioshock. Far Cry...eh I mean Crysis was eye candy, machine crushing tech demo, but SoC add just as much or more atmosphere (and going into the underground research complexes was pretty unnerving the first time through!). Think GSC Gameworld's gonna have a hit with this 2nd release. Keep my RAD Kits crossed!! :-)

STALKER already blows away Crysis in the indoor environments and looks like Clear Sky will have better outdoor graphics and effects than Crysis. If Clear Sky runs much better than Crysis then surely the Crytek engine will be considered an unoptimized pos.

I've not played the original but I'm tempted by the thought of giving it a go along with getting a graphics card to play it on when school gets out.

Any lovers or haters of the original here?
