Actually, I think that NVIDIA already supports SideShow with NVIDIA System Monitor... at least, it appears in my list of available SideShow Gadgets (Vista x64). I've been testing Microsoft's tech preview (beta) of their SideShow for Pocket PC (Windows Mobile 5+), available from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=79f19684-f... but it's not too stable yet and has completely killed (required hard-reset) my WM5 device several times so far. Because of the instability of the beta, I've not yet tried the NVIDIA gadget, but it might work.

Hey why is it that game developers keep leaving the ESA?

ESA is a nifty, but ultimately gimmicky spec.
The only monitors that care about are CPU, GPU and system temperature. The bulid-in diodes on modern chips work well enough and have decent support. A huge difference from chips that were three years and older. I use a DMM for voltage readings (far more accurate). |

I like...
I think I might go the ESA route if/ when it supported mid-low range hardware. |

Isn't there a plugin for that for the g15?
Can you use the g15 display as a sideshow? |

What would be really slick is to have Ventrilo or TeamSpeak displayed on the SideShow. Sometimes it gets to be a bit tough to discern between geeky-esque male vocals.
