At some point it stops being worth it really.

With the MSI Wind taking up the mantle of value medium-small laptop, this is going to have a very difficult time at those prices. Maybe they're hoping that MSI will run out of machines and people will buy theirs instead.

There was a real demand for small laptops around $300 - cheap enough to simply buy without analysing your bank records to see if you can really afford it, good enough to be useful.

How much will Asus' Eee PC 1000 set you back once it hits retail stores in the Europe? Hard to pay.
