I don't mind the colours at all in Diablo 3, I just wish the enemies were a bit more disgusting. As far as the environments go, I don't notice far more colour than in Diablo 2 - the only significant change is the loss of the "light radius" feature and not the palette itself.

The feel/look of diablo isn't a small thing, it is very important.
Whether or not the new look works has yet to be determined, only playing the game in that setting will one know for sure. The grungy dark look of Diablo is what I loved about the game, the visuals helped convey the type of situation the world was in. Still, one won't really know till you sit down and play it. IMHO Blizzard would do well to give the user the ability to do a 'grunge' overlay in the display menu just in case. *Edit* GAH, meant to reply to #4, friggin firefox. |

So apparently the gaming numbers were hardware+software, and DVD numbers are software-only. |

IV. Update for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Vista systems that are running Hyper-V
To be clear, This is for Vista systems that remotely administrate Win2K8 boxes with Hyper-V. I was all excited for a minute there at the thought of Vista plus Hyper-V. |
