A Pentium D would require a custom kernel for OSX. OSX's vanilla kernel only boots/runs on Core/Core 2/Atom.

Mentioning Apple, Leopard and OS X, can get you in trouble. Apple could clamp down on TR (if they see fit), JUST to get under your skin, etc.
Again, the way one of these companies *could* stay in business: sell computers, lay out that you bundle MS, linux as available install options AND make sure to have an advertising presence on the Hackintosh forums as ones that have "plug and play" hardware. |
