Could be that Nvidia is just covering their own butt here. $25 million is cheap compared to the cost of a patent infringement defense if any of TMTA's portfolio even resembles the stuff Nvidia is currently working on.

Screw Tegra, how about some of these power and heat reducing technologies in the next nFurnace?

I forgot how hot 680i ran until I brought one of my two 680i mobos out of retirement the other day. Holy Gord those things cook.
