I have been using alpha and beta versions of browsers for years. There wasn't any single app that in a beta version didn't have quite a few problems.
The whole thing is because Google made this browser too many people think it's done... I'm quite happy about the current result and to tell you the truth I prefer using Chrome for simple web serfing than Firefox. Firefox has loads of add-ons and staff like that which will make your life more... customised but Chrome is enough for simple things and that's why I like it! |

What I don't like about Chrome is no support for download manager from 3rd party yet.
Also the lack of Ads blocking and weird EULA. |

Would someone please kindly explain to me the difference between a "malicious hacker" and a "researcher" who gleefully hacks some piece of new, BETA software (as if that makes him more manly, I guess) and then puts the hack up on the Internet as a PROOF OF CONCEPT that absolutely no one asked for in any way, shape, or form? I mean, what's the difference between that and putting up a neon sign saying, "Here's how to hack this piece of BETA software, kiddies! Right this way!"
I really, really get tired of seeing these people dignified by being called "researchers." They aren't--they're just hackers--and as to whether or not they are malicious I leave that up to you...;) |

teething problems.... hopefully Google will be more pro-active about security given this smack across the face so early on.

I started to use it and have to say I'm impressed with it. Mostly cause of the speed and ease of use. When installing it imported all my bookmarks with the click of like two buttons. Found a couple of flows on some sights but all in all I think it's good.

Well at least it is something that can be fixed.

Well it is a beta, and I expect that Google will do frequent releases to fix all the simple bugs that have been discovered.
Of course if they don't, then may they be damned to an eternity of using IE5. |
