Sweet action! I knew something good was on the way when the summary stretched to three paragraphs! Finally! Folding benchmarks, power draw, and noise measurements from someone who knows what they are doing. Other sites do each of those, but I'd only trust TR to do them all right.

So basically the L5430 will perform the same as the 2.66Ghz Q9450 while consuming no more than 50w? Very nice.

Intel still plans on releasing the Dunnington Xeons as well.

FYI, Dunnington = 45nm Penyrn-architecture based, one-die, sextel core, 24MB of L2 cache.
