All I see is a Box. Its only a BOX! What's all the commotion anyway?

PS: Yes I know I'll be rated all the way down to hell

iirc, the Gigabyte Aurora 3D was picked as the perfect gamer case by PC Gamer Magazine last year, so if this is considered an improvement, then I'd call it a winner for sure. Looks great.

Thanks TR.

Great view! Very nice case and is definitely one I'll be considering for a future upgrade. The only problem are those two 80mm fans, so many bad whiny memories of the world when every fan was 80mm. Do you know what there max RPM is, are they kept slow?

For some reason the front of the case reminds me of Beaker from the Muppets

U think so? I'm tired of seeing ads comming in the guise of reviews. I know the line is pretty thin but I'd love to see something that's new/innovative, so all the manufacturers realise that people *love* innovation or else even a geinune review could be accused as an ad.
Guys let's reserve praises for truely worthy things. I don't think there's no room for improvement for cases (remember the good ol' Mac G4 Cube?).

(Sorry for the repeat)

Finally, a nice new case with the port cluster back on the front where it belongs!

Wow. I would pay $140 for that case without regret. And I am a cheap effin bastage.

My birthday is in November.

Good things, people; good things.

Fantastic review.

Only thing is that I would have to have on this case is vent filters. With two cats, the amount of dander, dust, and hair that gets into my cases, even WITH filters, is remarkable.

I just got a Cooler Master CM-690 with the 550W powersupply. Its a hell of a case, and a hell of a deal $129. The power supply itself is over $75, and the case alone is $89.99. My CPU temp and my 4850 chip temps dropped by 15F just switching cases.

What is apparent to me is the consideration of radiated EMI from the case, which is what I never see in the el-cheapo cases. Having the metal screens and metal to metal contacts is a fantastic benefit to keeping EMI at bay.

If I could manage the money layout for this case, I would purchase it on the spot. Especially in light of what I am using my PC for at home! What a great case, and again another great TR review.

Speaking of which, it would be nice to see radiated EMI tests, but knowingly very difficult to achieve without an expensive pile of equipment and a shielded room for testing. Oh well.

What tool was used when measuring the decibel levels?

You're doing a great review of these cases, by the way. Lots of pictures, lots of angles... You should go work for newegg's product department! ;)

Only thing that bugs me is trying to match the brushed stainless look with optical or media reader drives.

Yes, I am that anal that stuff needs to match. I *HATE* seeing a black case with beige drives that scream 'DYE ME, for God's SAKES' !!

PS - paint is for n00bs, dye is where its at.

Nice review.

I just wish the modern enclosures add 2 more USB ports (1 pair) in the front panel
because current motherboards already have 3 USB headers on the board.

This is an extremely impressive case. If I ever, someday, switch from my Lian-Li V1000 I will consider this one.

Say... does that case have a dongle in its pocket or is it just happy to see me?
