Wingless' post was modded down for profanity. We mod and/or nuke on this basis regularly, folks. Please read the rules!

I was wondering what OS they were using.
Did you post a picture of the Sweden 2 setup? What made their setup so much better than anybody else?

loved the article, best read in a long time.

Pictures were top notch also.

I loved Darth Vader.

I have a question, can someone explain what causes the "cold bug"?

The price money is a joke!!

$5,500 as first price? Come one! Considering the costs people must have had to compete in the event - from plane tickets to extra hardware - only a few of the winners should not have made a minus.

This article is missing a 'Surprise Victory By Max!' section.

I really enjoyed the pics and paragraphs on the different methods used to coats the PCBs.

In America, it's common...

I know that when folks from the US say "In America...", they really mean "In (the United States of) America..."

Since my girlfriend is from Central America, I *also* know that particular misuse really gets under the skin of many people that are from America, but don't live in the United States. :)

I was disappointed to see that no one in the competition was from Central, South, or North America (except for the USA). no Canadians or Brazilians? That's a surprise!

Maybe those just aren't big markets for Gigabyte, though...

Truly epic. This sure beats the pants off of IDF's notebook-assembly competition.

Nice hit Josh.

LN2 made me think of Foxconn BlackOps motherboard, not Gigabyte.
If Gigabyte want to be more serious in OC field,
they should learn from BlackOps board.

FYI, I don't hate Gigabyte. (my GA-8KNXP is still kick ass)

Love the Cup O' Noodles cup. Haven't seen one of those in a while.

And the South Africa team looks like a good bunch to have a beer with.

Right now those Europeans are probably unhappy that they didn't get 5000 Euros because the USD has very little buying power nowadays.

Depends on who those "Europeans" are. If they're Icelanders, they're probably ecstatic.

It also depends on what you mean by "nowadays"

Absolutely terrific story IMHO. You made my lunchbreak. Hats off to gigabyte for sponsoring this, and appearing to do it with a lot of class. Any video of this, interviews?
