I would never ever ever ever ever ever ever play a game like that. My first reaction would to exit out the game.

Maybe if that girl drink a coke or pepsi and said "ah" I would find it acceptable. But stopping the game to watch an ad, wtf, that's why I don't watch TV.

Ads in free games - OK.

Ads in games I've paid for - maybe, if it reduces the price of the game.

Ads in games that cost normal game price - no thanks.

OMG, so does this mean we will get the games for free now? Or like Cable do we pay for the games, and pay again (with our time), and again (for the hardware time to support it), and again....

Just don't like it.

Counterstrike would be a perfect game for ads, so that when you die at the start you have something to read while waiting for the next round to start.

Actually this would apply to several online FPS games.

So when the rumors about Valve being bought by Google surfaced, was it really this that Valve and Google were negotiating about?

I was ticked off beyond imagination when Subway ads appeared in a Quake Wars game I was playing.

How oddly "out of place" and disrupting that seems.

LEELA: Didn't you have ads in the twentieth century?

FRY: Well, sure, but not in our dreams. Only on TV and radio... and in magazines... and movies, and at ballgames, and on buses, and milk cartons, and T-shirts, and bananas, and written in the sky. But not in dreams, no sirree.

Some people think Google's aims for world domination are a bad thing.

I, for one, welcome our ad-enslaving overlords.
