You'd have to be an idiot to pay for a low-quality WMA or MP3 version to which you don't even own the rights – in form of the key that unlocks the DRM. Maybe this sort of thing will lead to people being more informed about DRM.

Why bother with DRM servers if all that's required to defeat the DRM is burn it to a CD and convert it back to MP3? Then you can do whatever you want with the resulting file(s). Obviously everyone's been doing this for years with iTunes.

I got a lot of $ in the msn music store, here in europe is still open. I would like to know if I am going to lose all my music.
