Good riddance, though I do feel bad for some of the good employees out of work. Circuit $hitty, as I came to know it, disappointed me a few times with lack of stock on advertised/special items (even on the morning of the first day of the sale) and screwing up rebates. So I haven't shopped there in years, and I'm guessing they never got better.

I shop a lot in a nearby Circuit City store in Chester County, PA. I would be very sad if my store is closed.

Bestbuy has just opened a new store within 5 miles.

Wow, two of them are located on either side of me. I always wondered why they had two so close to each other. But to close both seems a bit odd. *shrugs*
