This is only to catch the idiots who are desperate to be first with their nehelems. Once the actual release date comes along and every site has them prices will be much nearer to intels pricelist. Once the inital surge has passed like with any high end product we can expect the price war to get into full swing.

Now that looks better than those i7 prices. I already nabbed a Q9400 for $180 2 months ago.
