If it still has enforced breadcrumbs bar, lacking the 'folders' and 'up arrow' buttons in explorer and it continues to forget view settings per folder, then it's still defective rubbish as it's always been.

Any 'under the hood' kind of people seen the shambles they did with my documents / documents and settings folder redirections? Oh My God!!!! it's a disgrace.

Still using XP, still loving XP and sitll installing and recommending it for friends, family, coworkers - all my games work, all my apps work and none of my games look 'bad' because of a lack of DX10

When we all go 8gb and 64bit well, then I'm genuinely concerned .... I don't know what I'll do.

Vista SP1 fixed all the problems this singular user had.

Maybe SP2 will do some re-writes that will make Vista closer to the Win7 design. One can hope.

Search 4.0? It's a piece of shit, I uninstalled it shortly after it showed up. Slows boot times even on decent hardware.
