I liked Tweaktown's review of the Zotac mini-itx board, it was good to see what kind of power an intel c2d consumed using that board.

I LOL'd at the most pirated games of 2008. Huge backlash against Spore really says something imo.

I was actually rather surprised recently when I saw, at my local Best Buy, that Call of Duty: World at War had actually been ported over to the Playstation 2. Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Quantum of Solace, and Spiderman: Web of Shadows are several others that were released for next-gen consoles and ported over to PS2 as well (except for Chain of Memories, that started on the Gameboy Advance and got ported over to the PS2, but not to the next-gen systems).
Its hilarious how Sony declared "Gamers only want to play next-gen games! We know this using our semi-phenomenal, nearly cosmic powers!" when they stripped out PS2 support in the PS3 (yet kept PS1 support for some utterly bizarre reason), and yet brand new PS2 games are still being produced by studios. Hell, the PS2 still appears to be outselling the PS3, only slightly though, as of Q2 of '08. No idea what the situation is like now though. http://www.kotaku.com.au/games/2008/10/ps3_making_money_psp_sales_u... http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/kotaku/2008/10/sonynumbers.jpg |
