The TB Western Digital Caviar Black SATA hard drive review at the bottom is a little misleading I think.
NoTouch ramp load technology causes the recording head never to touch the disk media. The result is "less wear on the recording head and media, as well as better drive protection in transit." Makes it sound like the head NEVER touches the disks at all. MERRY CHRISTMAS TR readers! |
