It's 480hz, not 480 fps. It won't accept anything faster than a 60 'fps' input, and so it interpolates the rest. Seems like a waste until we get > 60hz inputs.

Remember when the Xbox was doomed? Especially after BluRay won the HD war?
Granted, they're both almost also-rans to the Wii, but it's remarkable how different the Sony-MS battle went compared to the last generation. |

The P6T6 ran for another 2.5 hours at a 60C ambient temperature; at the end of 6 hours in the incubator, the ambient temperature was 64C. I pulled out my infrared thermometer to look at some temperatures around the board. RAM was 77C. PWMs were 77C. Top of the NF200 and northbridge coolers, which are heatpiped together were at 88C. Yeah, I checked, it burned my finger, temp gun was correct or at least close to it.
Damn! Now that is a workhorse workstation! No legacy ports, all 16x lanes (6 of them!) 3 true 16x 2.0 lanes! But the SLI didn't work, but... Wow!! That was some revolution!
