More and more commentators say that W7 is not much different from Vista, so most of the people who had problems with VIsta, will have the same problems with W7.
People who had to buy new hardware and/or software because of Vista, will have to do that for W7 too.

Im currentley using the Windows7 Beta and every software program and Driver that I have downloaded and installed that is for windows Vista runs fine.

#2...basic driver model from Vista to W7 unchanged. I think that drivers have been the cause of many if not most problems. W7 still breaks compatibility with XP stuff. It runs a little snappier as they have turned off some stuff and optimized (likely?) the code they've already laid down for Vista.

Perhaps W7 is a 'facelift' for Vista...a fresh new face with the same muscle and bone underneath. Oooh...too much CSI.
