Really, Flash is becoming the worst performance bottleneck on a lot of people's systems. Has the mantle of "gluttonous software that demands hardware upgrades" -- which passed from Windows/Office to games in the 90s -- moved on to Flash for many people? It certainly seem to be the unclimbable mountain for a lot of otherwise-adequate machines.

Not sure why you mentioned the graphics in your HTPC wrt Flash Scott, but what CPU are you using?

Yeah- I don't really understand why, but adding a video card let me play Hulu at full res without a problem (AMD 4650e on 780G chipset) where it wouldn't before. But adding just about any recent card was enough to get performance to usable levels. But seriously- Adobe can add GPU acceleration to Acrobat, a document application, but not to Flash, an AV format/plugin? Really, where are the priorities...

It just needs to be made GPU-assistable., even some Intel GPUs ought to be able to help then.

I wish HULU liked UK users, or at least we had an equivilent service. BBC iplayer is fantastic, but only shows BBC stuff, would like a service just as good that offers legal high quality streaming from a variety of channels.

No Hulu in Canada.. Also, didn't Plex and Boxee offer Hulu support together with a nice Media Center that is way nicer and way more powerfull than MCE ?

You rock dude. I can't wait to read all the goodness you are going to produce. If you can find it in your heart to do a high resolution and detail game test for the CPUs, just a single test of a single game, that would be awesome. If not, it's all good, you're still first class.
