With this latest driver I've been having issues on Vista x64 with the desktop resolution changing by itself. I lock the PC at night (not slept or hibernated), then in the morning it's at 1024x768... Anyone else?

The installation had problems on my PC, but after several "your system has not been modified" setup errors and some reboots, I actually discovered that the Control Panel identifies itself as v186.18 now, so I guess all is well.
Someone on a forum said ARMA 2 doesn't work well, or at all, with these new drivers. |

As I mentioned in the 'bread, this was the first video card driver where I was not prompted for a reboot. I confirmed driver installed in devmgmt.msc and everything seems to be running fine. Windows 7/64-bit/9600GT.

The 185.85 version included, for the first time, a very workable option to control image quality in TV Tuner playback and had excellent noise reduction controls. That really helped, as it transformed the workability of my 8400GS. I hope that this version also continues that.

I'm a little depressed that I do not have to update to these drivers. My 8800GT worked so well for me for so long...
Then a got a 4890! Too cheap and too powerful to pass up! |
