Looks like a SLI/CF + some aftermarket HSF setup would be a very tight fit.

Is that a heatsink, or a mangled piece of wreckage that was swept off the highway after a serious auto accident?
Seriously, I did an engineering Masters with proper thermodynamics and fluid mechanics courses, and that is practically the worst fin design I have ever seen for actually cooling something in the world of modern computing. Some of the big metal slabs which ASUS comes up with put this to shame, and that's nothing to be proud of! |

Uh...not to be a complainer, but there's already a cheaper MSI board like this. Why is the EVGA one special?

Does it support crossfire? that'd be one reason for me not to get it- if it does not support crossfire I don't want it.

Have EVGA boards gotten better quality-wise? I love their video cards, but their motherboards can be a little sketchy (or used to be).

I can see why they only offer two-year warranties on such a product. With a typical system build dissipating 300W+ under load, and with typical small form factor cases on the market, this thing is guaranteed to die sooner or later unless its placed in a proper large-ish ATX case with adequate ventilation and cooling.

I'm not one for windows in cases but If I owned one of those I would cut a hole in the side of the case.
