That is one of if not the ugliest computer I have ever seen.

yes. best buy bought a batch trial of these puppies early last year (end of fiscal '08 for it) & they sold pretty well for the post-holiday season. failure rates were terrible & us everex "support" was completely non-existent (i had to personally deal with some of the fall-out for that. after the trial period was over & bby ran through its inventory, it said "never again" & went w/ acer as primary provide in that price/performance bracket.

tl;dr no huge loss for the us market.

I own a Sylvania g-book... which I believe is a rebadged cloudbook. I like it for what it is. 7" screen with 1 GB RAM and a real hard drive. The OS that shipped with it was crap, but after loading XP on it, runs fine.
