That was no accident, and properly so. They were helping the "enemy" in that undeclared war.

3 years moved and still there? No wonder why the US hit the Chinese embassy last time......

A few years ago I looked into getting one for my wife... her direction sense is the worst of anyone I've ever known. The problem I found at the time with the Garmin system was the poor quality of their maps. For the US set they still had the airport in Austin,TX downtown (at least 3 years after it had moved), and the area I live in near Denver had only 2 roads (there are 10,000 houses in the area). Yes, the GPS worked fine... but without the map support it was useless for my wife. If anyone is considering this product, I'd have a salesman prove the maps worked for the areas I was interested in.

Anyway, it's good to see they can include a GPS system into such a small offering... Most GPS systems seems to be rather large in size...

Looks nice, but only one "city select" map region is included for that $589. Additional ones cost $50 a pop, or $100 for the complete US set. Not exactly cheap.
