Doesn't a "mockup" that doesn't look like the real product defeat the purpose?
It'd be like: "Here's a mockup of the upcoming Corvette." "Errr, that's a minivan with Corvette spraypainted on the side..." "Exactly!" |

Same picture error here.
And, I'm wondering how you can play MP3's w/o booting into your OS. From a CD with MP3's on it? Don't most people store them on their HD except for CD players which can read them. And they would have to be in some common format, which I don't know much about because I'm not much interested in that sort of thing. My HD holds the CD's I've ripped and listen to often. |

Related thought. I looked at this and the Xbox article directly below it and wondered: Centrino cube? Think about it :)

"The model number for the first Athlon 64 XPC ends in "G4," signifying that a new front faceplate look will debut for this new system. As I understand it, the G4 faceplate design should have an LCD display and controls for MP3 playback. Playing MP3s will not require booting into the OS."
*drooooool* Gimme, NOW! |
